Instead of your lathe sitting idle, put it to work!

This video parallels my article in Issue #194 (December 2011) of Popular Woodworking Magazine. It will give the reader additional visualization of the steps in the construction process. This is an easy half-day project that yields a great disk sander that would cost hundreds of dollars. Best of all, your lathe has a wide latitude of speed control allowing greater control over the sanding process itself, which is something few commercial examples have. Enjoy!
